Tinker and Sharon Helseth
Two of the most hospitable and welcoming people you will ever meet. Tinker and Sharon are the glue that holds Tinker's together. Tinker is rarely seen without a chainsaw in hand and Sharon could best Gordon Ramsey in a woodstove cook-off!
Kari Helseth
Nickname around camp, Little Tinker.
Kari can be seen nearly everywhere at the camp, from behind the office desk, to the dining room, to down at the lake greeting airplanes! Some would say she's a lot like her Dad... our newest Helseth pilot, she'll even guide you!
Katie Walker
The Iron Chef! As Tinker would say, "she could be a chef at a famous restaraunt!" She keeps us all fed with delicious meals that leave everyone raving. You can't find fresher ingredients... she grows them in her own garden!
Byron Walker
Byron is the newest addition to our team, and our family too! He's our jack-of-all-trades; a highly experienced guide, a fix-it man, and even Tinker himself admires Byron's craftsmanship with a chainsaw and a chisle!
Mikaela Kroeker
Nickname - Kaze
Mikaela (Tinker's neice) has been accused of having a smile that is contagious! She's not affraid to tackle any challenge, and has even developed a knack for cutting grass!
Pat Lipsette
One of our most requested guides... Pat can catch a fish anywhere! He enjoys fly-fishing and can literally "hook you up" with beautiful and effective handmade fly's! Pat's easily noticed at the camp in his 1985 white Dodge!
Rudy French
Specialty:
Rudy's Cajun Corned Fish Fry.
What does he do when he's not at Tinker's? Rudy is not only a great guide, he is also a Pastor and an international missionary, he has spent time in Louisiana, South Korea, and the Phillipines! He's quite the joke teller too!
Matthew Helseth
Matthew is a fourth generation Helseth guide... he has been taking guests since he was 11, learning each secret spot from his Papa Tinker. Matthew knows where the fish are, and he makes a mean (albeit spicy) trout boil!
Jamie Krukoski
Nickname around camp - Krock
What does he do when he's not at Tinker's? Jamie is a certified airplane mechanic... and can also be found weighing in some lunkers at several area fishing tournaments! Jamie has been with Tinker's for a decade!
Ryan O'Donnell
Our master trout fisherman! Although he can put you on any species you'd like, he sure knows those Lakers. He'll keep you laughing with his quick wit, and boy can he tell a story!
Mike Niskala
Nickname around camp - Mitch
What does he do when he's not at Tinker's? Mike is a machine operator on the cross canada pipeline.
Favorite fishing? Big fiesty bass on Otterskin Lake!
Steve Niskala
Fish fear him! If there is a fish in the water, he'll find it. Steve is also a teacher and it's rumored he can play a serious round of golf!
